I was surprised by the build quality of other car makers in this segment, when I actually drove & felt the comfort of Chevrolet Optra Magnum LT 2009.
This is a solid car with best of the interiors, features like airbags, electronic ORVM, sunroof, alpine stereo, 3 spoke alloys, 1.6 engine with ABS. Not even in a single jerk of the road, noise level is Zero and on the road stability is awesome. Its bad to know that Indians do not appreciate quality - and everyone seems to be running for average, quality & safety can be compromised is secondary.
Your Honda(feels like it will start flying its feather lift seems like you are driving rickshaw) , maruti (other than swift who cares) , Toyota more of a taxi in small segment. Its good GM is not interested in India they are happy selling there cars in other countries. But Magnum is a killler car for sure.
