This post is a cry from the depth of despair from an average Indian citizen who hardly gets justice when come to the matter of customer services and after sales support.
I bought a Chevrolet Optra magnum LT in February 2012 from the dealer Trident Kalyan Nagar Bangalore. The car was good though.
Due to unfortunate event of flood the vehicle underwent major work and Trident kept car with them more than 6 months to finish the work. 6 months is too much of a time I believe.
There were very few weeks of delay from my side and from the Insurance Company. But there was a huge delay from the dealer.
In January 2014 I took the delivery after paying more than Rs 3.3 Lakhs bill.
But engine malfunction came up when I was in Kerala and it was diagnosed as an issue with the fuel pump by Deedi Motors Pathanamthitta and later also by Geeyem Motors, Nettur, Kochi.
I sent email to GMI CAC(GM india customer service) except for once there was no response. In January 2014 Vehicle was under warranty. I followed up the email chain in March 2014 but there was no response at all.
Now fuel pump failed completely on 11th Sept 2014 and the car was towed to Geeyem Motors, Kochi.
I sent an email yesterday(12-09-2014) and also today but there is no response from GM India.
This is too much of negligence towards an Indian customer. There is no customer focus.
When I sent the email to geeyem customer service, Mr. Cilgy(Customer service Manager) says that he is waiting for input from GM India.
I am just wondering how can now I buy a costly car from G M India? Even for their luxury – D segment sedan the customer experience is really pathetic.
Is there Someone here from GM India to help?
The customer service number 1800 3000 8080 never works.
If customer focus does not improve then all the vehicle companies with indifferent attitude will die a natural death.
