I made a big mistake of booking this car thinking that I will be the proud owner of a wonderful car. I was amazed by the features in this car and booked the Automatic version in the month of January through Kropex India, Bangalore. Initially there was lot of chaos in booking as the sales person left the company and no booking placed. After multiple visits to Kropex office I was able to book the car with the Promise from the sales manager that I would get the car in 20 days.
After 20 days, when I called to confirm the delivery, I get to know that, delivery is delayed by 2 more weeks and will be delivered in 1st week of March. In the 1st week of March they are saying that, manufacturing of this vehicle is delayed due to non-availability of Gear box for automatic variant. Dealears are not sure when the car will be delivered. Mean while price of the car is increased and they want to pay the higher amount. I had sent the e-mail to GM marketing about this and their response was just a one liner and they due to heavy demand for this car they are not able to deliver on time. There is no response from them for my follow up mails.
I have lost so much of money by booking this car. All the Other car prices also going up from April 1st as due to additional tax levied by the Government. Until you callup frequently the sales Rep (Deepak) and Sales Manager (Sharath), they dont bother to keep u informed about your delivery. Every time there is a standard answer that they don't have any information from GM. If this the response one get during sales then imagine the state of Service Department.
Guys, if you are thinking about buying Cruze, think 100 times. Besides the Car, Company and the dealer matters a lot. U may also end up loosing big money.
