I was out to purchase a Chevrolet Beat for myself, since I stay in Noida, and after going to a couple of dealers of Chevvy, I finally decided upon Shiva Motors.
I'll start with my first day's visit to Shiva Motors:
1- First visited Shiva Motor based at sector18 Noida. There I got the deal of around Rs
4, 50, 000.
2- Upon further research, I got another Shiva Motor based at sector 11, Noida. There I got the deal of around Rs 4, 40000.
3- I again visited Sector 18 for getting some good deal. Here I got some additional accessories. Everything was almost final, and I was left to give the booking amount only. But at that day I was not carrying my cheque book. I told that rep that I will book the car on next day.
4- I got the call from the rep of sector-11 Shiva Motor. That rep told me to give one chance and he will give me the best deal. I accepted it and that guy came to me in the evening at my office .And he gave me the deal mentioned below:
a) Car amount Rs 4, 25, 000
b) Accessories: Center locking remote, Mud flap, foot mat, seat cover, Insurance free, CPCO free and anti rust coating on place of gear lock.
5- All the things were finalized and then Sales Rep of Shiva Motors, Sec 11 Noida asked me to come over his show room for giving the booking amount. I reached there in his show room dated 01st Sep2010.And gave him the booking amount of Rs 5000.and also gave him all the documents they required for loan process. I also asked for the document required for CPCO but he replied it is not required.
6-Now I was waiting for his response. I did not get any call from this dealer
1- I made calls for getting the status of my loan. But got no response.
2- I went there and met the concern person. Again they asked for some more time.
3- Once loan process got cleared I reached their show room and asked the concern person to accompany me to bank.
4- I faced problem due to incomplete document attached by the dealer. Due to which I had to suffer inconvenience in bank.
5- I was told that rep will show me the car I was going to purchase as I have to finalize the color. But in spite of giving lots of call he never showed me the same. At last I went on the same day, I got the loan, with the person to their godown and then finalized the color.
12- After this I went their show room to deposit the loan amount. I paid this amount, but again that dealer rep was not available. He met me for 2- 5 sec and went somewhere else. He told me that he will return within half an hour but did not.
13- I again went there at show room for making my other pending payments. Again faced same problem.
14- After some time I asked for my car delivery status by making lots of calls(again never got any response from any of the rep of Shiva motors).I went there at show room and lost my temper on that rep. Then he said this deal could not be done as boss was not agreeing as the concerned person was not available. Then he gave me two choices(i) if I pay extra money of amount Rs 4000, he will give me the car on next day.(ii) I take the car delivery in Navratra. I choosed second option.
15- After that meeting again I did not get the status of my car. I went there at show room one day before of delivery of car i.e 09th Oct2010.
16- But now again those people were playing a new game. Now they said we can’t give you the car on the same deal as boss was not signing on the documents. On lots of argument with those people, he said if I pay Rs 4000 extra and make payment for Teflon coating also then they will give me the delivery with complete deal. I had told that rep if you have any document/form which I have to fill please provide me. But he always said no there is no such requirement. I asked for CPCO, he told I will get the book at the time of delivery
Now came the delivery day of the car i.e 10th oct2010: I was given time of 11:30 AM sharp to get delivery. When I reached, found the car in dirty condition.
18- On shouting they just clean the car by cloths only and handed over the same in that condition.
19- They did not make the car complete as decided between us. No accessories were there. On asking for papers he gave me only invoice paper and insurance paper. On asking for accessories and CPCO book, car manuals they told me I will get all the things after three days means on 13th oct.
20- When nobody gave me the call till evening on that day, I made call to the GM. Next day that rep come to me. But he did not take car back for completing it in all respect. He told me to leave the keys in office and he will collect the car. I did it but when I came back to office in evening I found my car in same condition.
21- Next day I again shouted and reached show room in after noon. The GM said to leave my car there on next day and they will returned in two days as there were some additional work of door which got scratched and on request they repaired/replaced on FOC.I left the car for two days. And made call on the time they given after two days.
22- I did not found my car complete. Only the door was repaired/replaced and nothing done. On asking they were saying are these work pending also, which were already informed to them.
23- Next dayI came to show room and got accessories(center locking, seat cover).For CPCO they are again playing game, that we are trying as that rep has left the company. That guy made lot of mistakes with lots of customer. Sometimes I got the calls from show room for feedback. I mentioned these things clearly, now the customer support manager has given me assurance that at the time of servicing I will get the CPCO documents but this thing is not happened.
24- I have not got the registration number till now as I have taken car one month back.
25- I submitted all the documents required. In spite of this I have to pay many challan bills to traffic police as did not get the number.
26- On shouting and making call again n again the representative tell that your query is under process, some says I am new person and do not know your case. Some says not getting your file.
27- GM says I never informed to him and he was not aware of this thing.
28- Now when I shouted lot on him, he gets the file and then told me that they need some more documents.
29- No one has informed me regarding the same before.
I am suffering from the very first day and compromised at each and every step where they required.
I paid extra money also but end of the day I did not get anything. They never respond for anything, I had to make call again n again.
I asked them for mail ID & mob no of MD many times but on my repeated persuasions they gave the mail id only, but I am not sure whether this belongs to their MD or not.
Each and every one is very unprofessional at Shiva Motors. The customer care representative also did not treat me well. On shouting they put the phone down without any solution, and again n again make calls for feedback.
I also asked for the solution in meeting, held on 13th Oct2010, in which neither they will be in trouble nor I face problem but they did not respond.
The day I booked the car to till date I am suffering with these guy.
It is suggested that we should be careful before buying any car from the dealership specially Shiva Motors.
