Dear Sir,

I have booked a CHEVY BEAT 1.2 PS with the above mentioned dealer in December, 2010.

At first they quoted Rs.12000 (new India) for insurance. When it was pointed out that the insurance he is charging is exorbitant, he has brought it down to Rs. 9900.

During the booking time I was informed by Mr Aditya (sales executive) that the said vehicle is in stock. The payment of the ex showroom amount was credited to their bank on 27-Dec-2010. After that Mr Aditya seems to have gone under ground.

There is no response or what so ever from him. His senior Mr Vipin has also declined to speak. Calls to the showroom are always kept on wait and calls to both their mobiles go unanswered.

Out of sheer frustration I contacted GM Office in Mumbai. Mr Kochar in Mumbai put me to Mr Ganesha. Mr Ganesha somehow has been busy to reply to my phone calls. Ms Perputua in Mumbai office called Mr Vipul on the other line and she assured that Mr vipul will get back. However Mr Vipul has yet not called back.

Sir I have the following queries

  1. Is it customary that in Chevrolet a customer is treated like a foot ball to go from one person to the other.

  2. Do you have some training for your dealers because they treat the customer like s**t.

  3. Does anyone have any responsibility towards a customer calling. Does he deserve to be answered or calls are treated as if the customer is begging for a car.

  4. Sir this is my fourth car in the car stable. We have cars of brands Maruti, Hyundai, Honda. We have NEVER EVER faced such a problem with any dealer till date.

The car purchase experience was a cake walk with them. But with ASHTAVINAYAK it seems that I have to resort to cancelling the order.

I would advise to STOP APPOINTING USELESS DEALERS LIKE ASHTAVINAYAK otherwise a time will come when dealers like ASHTAVINAYAK will be responsible for GM exiting this country.

If any one who is responsible will at least call or email regd delivery of the above vehicle.

Regards,

Amit Ahuja
