I moved in from Maruti Zen(Vxi) to the aveo 1.4LS, and its now about 2 week and already drove some 800 km. I'm very happy with the car, except probably the gear shift is notchy. Interiors are really good. Handling, drivability all great. The control of wiper / turn indicators are on the wrong side(if you consider regular cars as the right side:)). its a problem if you have to drive different types of car. Pick up is ok.
Fuel economy - 12 km/litre in city with ac on, about 13 km/hr on highways(where half-the drive was at speed beyond 100km/hr).
I also tried Fiesta(1.4) - Fusion - and verna. While verna has a greater pick compared to this, but it will be very expensive compared to this.
The latest version say- they have tubeless tires. the websites still don't mention this.
If you don't mind a Hyundai product and have the money, you may want to try Verna(I tried only the top end), else AVEO is great, its big - great looks, spacious .
