Only because of SRK, the movie is see-able once. The film makers tried their level best to make it fu-nnn-iey(funny). Well at times I did lol too.like when he says to his kidnappers.’Hello Nature’s call’ – Hello Nature – I am coming’.and the fact that ‘you are not a Don’s daughter but a donkey’s daughter’.otherwise the film was pretty much pathetic!
Anyways, film wants to convey the deplorable condition of women down South esp. in the rural areas!- I felt like washing the feet of our side men.Bengal side ie. – comparatively they are literally like Gods! Our men respect our feelings and definitely don’t treat us like muck or force us to do things without our consent.unlike the life of the poor girls shown in this film – they have no say whatsoever! Oh! What a terrible life.hope some modernization soon takes place in that area.or we will soon have yet another ‘Madras Cafe’ kind of thing happen due to subservient, illiterate women.who eventually become Mothers and bring forth children in this dire & loveless state of affairs!
