Charas, . Review on Charas

Charas is very good film. All the film revolves around the heroes and the villain type hero and the heroines get no chance to perform. They are taken in the film just because a heroine is necessary in bollywood n 4 songs. But in spite of this the film has a great story in it.

Characters

Irfan khanplays the role of charas supplier. He himself looks like a charas user in the film .his acting isn?t impressive at all. Well he has the most important role in the film.

Jimmy sherjillplays the role of an England return young police who has been send by uk secret police force to find an English boy lost in India near the charas farms situated in hills who came here to study botany.

Uday chopraplays role of a young man who helps jimmy in fighting the thief?s who tries to stole his luggage n then becomes his guide in India n helps him in finding the lost boy.

She plays role of a reporter she just has a song n 3to 4 scenes. She has pair with jimmy

She has also a song in the film n 3 to 4 scenes. She is paired up with Uday.

Story

The story starts with a foreign student of botany wandering in small hills which r famous 4 charas plants n it is known that the best charas grows in these fields. He is kidnapped by a man known, as policeman played by irfan khan who lives here n is the owner of all the charas produced here.

Then after one-year devanand played by jimmy sherjillis send from england to find him as a secret police officer n also investigate about these charas fields.he stays in a hotel in India n becomes friend of aslam played by uday chopra who helps him in saving his luggage from thieves. Then he becomes his guide n guides him towards the charas fields.

They both go there .on the way they meet a girl who is the heroine no. 2 n give her lift to the way of the charas fields n uday begins to love her but she misteriously leaves them when they are asleep in night. When they reaches the village where the charas hills r located they find that most of the people there r foreigners n their r very less local people. They meet nimrita their who plays the role of journalists who wants to explore all this mystery about charas. When jimmy asks anyone about the boy all people behaves in very strange manner n even threats him. He receives a call from England of his grandfather who tells him that the local police of England will make a case on him of going to India 4 some kind of illegal thing if will not come back here n shut down his files on this case.

Then he realises that this network of charas is spreded throughout the world n the police is talking the language of the charas suppliers. When he refuses to stop his investigation uday tells him that he is a secret police man of the Indian police who is appointed to stop him from working on this case. Actually the corrupt men in police was trying to stop him on working on this case as they were involved with the charas suppliers who were having a vast network throughout the world n its don I mean the big boss of all this was a foreigner besides many small bosses in all countries.

Uday was not corrupt but as he was a small officer so he was ordering his boss order to stop jimmy on working on this case. Uday was ordered to arrest him. Then their is a fight between the two in which uday wins n locks jimmy in his room but when he goes out jimmy escapes n starts his journey towards the charas hills. The girl with whom uday begins to love is a member of charas party.

Uday sees her n starts following her but is shot by the other people with her, as they know he is a police n thinks that he is following them. But uday is just a little injured n when he goes to jimmy?s room he doesn?t find him their as he has escaped. Disappointed uday while wandering in streets find his old colleague friend who was lost with one of his officer several years ago. He is shocked to know that he his friend is know a member of charas suppliers n the policeman I mean the boss of charas in these fields, after which jimmy is, is none other then his old boss, the former honest police officer, played by irfan khan, who lost with this friend 5 years ago.

Then their is flash back in the film where Uday remembers his past when he was newly appointed in police. His team with the chief irfan khan n the same friend he meeting right now n 2 more people went in the same village where he is now 4 acting against charas suppliers. His two friends were murdered during the operation n only he, irfan khan n his friend survived. In this operation they arrested a big name in charas supply red handed but the senior officer who were involved with them released him. Disappointed irfan n his friend resigned then they went somewhere know body knows. After there lost uday is meeting his friend now after many years.

Coming back from flashback his friend tells him to run otherwise his people will kill him but at the same moment his friend is shot by some one. Days mind changes from here n he decides to help jimmy in finding the boss n asks him why he started all this. He finds jimmy near the hills .n tells him that he is with him, and then jimmy n uday starts finding the boss in the hills.

Well the film is very good I recommend it to people who like thriller stories.
