ASHOKA : The Great Samrat..... Review on Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat

I'm watching  Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat  on Colors channel from begining. The story of Samrat Ashoka is quite different than any other historical stories. Also first time on television a serial on Samrat Ashoka is created. Many of us don't know much about Samrat Ashoka. the cast of the serial is very good. Specially the main Ashoka role performing child actor Siddharth Nigam is very suitable. We have already seen him in Dhoom3 with his martial art which is also shown in the serial. The best part of the serial is Acharya Chanakya role playing by Manoj Joshi. He is simply good in his acting, a truly genuine acting. Sameer Dharmadhikari as Bindusar, Pallavi Subhash as Dharma all the star cast is really playing hard for their role. the set of the serial is very nice unlike in other historical serials we see the sets and other small things are neglected due to over efforts only on the main actor's dressing and all. But in this serial all the things are managed nicely.

There are slow motion effects, fighting scenes and the royal looks of Maurya is very nice.The serial teaches lot about the Maurya empire and abot Samrat Ashoka and his courage. His intelligent mind and efforts to give his mother her rights. To save empire and Bharat from bad people. I watch such shows on TV beacuse.Sometimes we understand these things better when we see it rather than reading these things in books.
