Eating in the PHONE BOOTH!!. Review on Chakra, Sakinaka, Andheri, Mumbai

Being a resident of Andheri East for the past 5 years, I faced limited choices when it came to eating out.Thanks to POPTATES I no longer feel the need to travel West.Since the birth of Poptates-Sakinaka my social life has come back on track.Its been almost 7 months that I have been frequenting this joint and it still holds the same magnetism.

Firstly talking about the ambience it is definately better than the one in Versova and equivalent to the one in Malad.It does have a large screen that generally has channel ESPN on.So you can enjoy guzzling beer with cricket,wrestling and all the other ball games included depending on the season.The music played ranges from Bryan Adams to all time romantic hits (mind you only English).They have variety of themes like champagne sips,candlelight dinner,rose and wine to mention some depending on the day you visit.What I like best is the Happy Hours between 2:47 to 6:47 where you can avail buy one get one free offer.Great for low income earners like me with huge expeditures.You also get a variety in cocktails.Outta which Planters Punch and Long Island Iced Tea always get me grooving.The food menu named after Archie comic characters does have the affect to delight your taste buds always.

Now the one thing different about this Unrestaurant is the Telephone Booth.You only find this seating arrangement in Poptates-Sakinaka.I did bring in my birthday this year at Poptates due its close proximity home.Since the given day was a Saturday the place was packed (45 mins wait time)and the only choice left was the <PHONE BOOTH>.But it was all fun I did have a bottle of champagne to shed the inhibitions.My friends did join later and we moved to a bigger table.The reduction in bank balance was around Rs.2300/- .Not bad at all considering the group included 6 well bodied healthy foodies.
