A centralized university under centre government rules and regulations popular in all over India for its best faculty and post graduate degree programmes.
*The CUHP is situated in kangra district at shahpur working in a temporary building of govt pg college shahpur named as TAB SHAHPUR.I am.also a student of central university of Himachal Pradesh undertaking admission in MSc mathematics with roll no CUHP16IAM28.
In the university's there are total 17 courses are running in which 13 for pg programmes and 4 ug programme.Almost most of faculty and dean all indian standards marinating the education value at higher commands.All the thing all well maintained in the university and provides a natural habitat to the students with a roadside building.It major courses are msc in mathematics.environmental science..biology .physic MBA MA in sociology.English Hindi Sanskrit etc.*
Univ has its own canteen .cafeteria. Mess and own goody furniture and environment with a well furnished library .hostel facility.
There in most of pg courses have only 30 seats for these seats u have to be appered in FEAT Entrance exam.
DISADVANTAGE (LACKING ASPECTS)
With the number of advantages of this university there are also be many lacking sides of this univ as
1 No an city area nearby campus which makes its at the backward place.
2 There is any own building or campus of the univ yet till from past six years.
3 TAB SHAHPUR. building is too small to runnning these acadamic courses so there is all courses runs in shift like Monday to Friday and some Tuesday to Saturday and some as Friday to Tuesday so its a major disadvantage.
4 the campus have an hostel faculty for girls at Dharamsala 27 km from univ and for boys at Kangra 25 km from univ which also lack side but HRTC transport facility is provides to the hostel students with a bus pass of 500 rupees per month.
Clearly that I have noticed in this univ that its have more advanced faculty the lack sides are just negligible there are many students studied in pg coursed and Ph D courses which are out of Himachal.
