I have had nothing to complain about Cauvery ford till now. Their service was quite good, both at during the sale (Nov 2004) and during services. They have drivers to pick up the vehicle from the residence and drop off after the servicing. But my recent experience was a real shocker. I would like to share that with all who would send their vehicles for servicing (may be other service centres also).
Especially, if you are a mechanically incompetent person like myself. Cauvery ford has send back the vehicle after the fourth service with a bill including changing of coolant as an item. After nearly three months someone who happened to look while the bonnet was open pointed out to me that I have been using water as a coolant. That was the first time I realised the guys at Cauvery Ford have changed the coolant and filled the tank with water.
I am not sure what to do now than change the service centre, but the comments I read about Metro Ford service standards in mouth shut makes me wonder whether there is any scope for ‘better’ change. The best thing to do would be to be vigilant or give it to a non Ford service centre where I could see what is happening.
