Watch it once with no expectations. Review on Case 39 Movie

This is my first review after a long time & I am very bad in writing a movie review. So please excuse.

A friend of mine recommended me to watch this movie. Hence, I watched it. When I started watching this movie, after sometimes, story becomes predictable.

Burdened Social worker Emily Jenkins (Zellweger) got her case number 39 to investigate the family of a 10 year old Lillith Sullivan (Jodelle Ferland), as her grades in school have declined. Emily suspects that the parents have been abusing Lillith, and proposes to her department to take the child away from her parents' custody. After taking the permission from the board, Emily takes the custody of Lillith. BUT soon the child shows frightening abilities and a wordly-wise personality. And here we are. Suddenly all close friends of Emily, for instance almost-boyfriend/Psychiatrist Douglas J. Ames (Bradley Cooper), die and Emily starts to research and gets terrified - very terrified. What she'll do next? Watch the movie.

Casting is very good. Acting was good, specially by Jodelle Ferland. I cant say this is a horror movie. Except a scene or two, I dint find any part as horror.

Pros:

Jodelle Ferland did a scarily convincing Job. Zellweger was good. Casting of this movie, as per me, cant be better.

Cons:

Story is predictable. Its not a horror movie, but raises a few questions like where is the borderline between shizophrenia and possession?

This movie did received some negative feedbacks with critics stating this movie as "Terrible", "Dumb" & "Not Scary". All these because directors projected this movie as a horror, scary movie. Watch this movie with no expectations & you can find it as worth watching once (& ONLY ONCE).
