Cartoon network is a very popular channel among the kids and this channel was lauched in 1992. This channel is owned by Turner Broadcasting System. It is an USA based television channel. When this channel started broadcasting in India those were the earlier days of cable TV days in India. And at that time this channel used to come as free channel in India.
At this point of time India did not have any dedicated channel for showing only cartoon. So kids used to wait for the few cartoon which used to come in the general TV channels. Then Cartoon Network started broadcasting in India and it was like dream come true for the kids in India. a 24 hour broadcasting channel only for showing cartoon, it was like awesome.
