I bought Carrier 1.5 ton Inverter Split AC 2 Years back around 47000/-. I have very bad experience and feeling helpless . This year when I turn ON, It didn't start cooling. I called customer care they sent Engineer and did not able to solve the issue. After many technician visit, they found that Out door unit PCB is faulty and not giving power to compressor. They took the out door PCB twice to Service Center but they did not able to repair. The worst part is that they took 3 Months to get this resolved but they did not able to do. They said that PCB replacement is the only solution and It is costing 17000/- for only the PCB. Because this is Inverter AC, PCB cost is too high.
On top of this, New PCB warrenty is only of 3 Months. This was more frustrating that even spending this much amount, I will not get anything.
Then I decided to buy new AC instead off getting this repaired. Even I did not get the wrapper off from Indoor unit. It was very painful giving this AC 3000/- in exchange offer.
So be wise and good review while buy such costly product.
