For quality lovers. Review on Carlsberg Beer

I was never a beer drinker, until I tasted Carlsberg. In India, the beer market is dominated by Kingfisher and because of this people have become used to smelly and hard beers. So many Kngfisher, Haywards etc. drinkers find this brand very light and bland.

Let me tell you - this is the ONLY all malt beer in India. And that's premium!

It is priced about Rs. 20 higher than all other domestic beers, but the price is well worth it. It is for those who enjoy quality, not for those who want to get drunk on beers. Anyway, if you want to get the punch & get drunk, you shouldn't be drinking beer in the first place. Go to some 'real' drinks like whiskey, rum etc.

So here it is:

Taste - Very crisp and clearly different than any other brand

Strength - It is a pale lager; meaning that the color is soft yellow with alcohol content at 5% (mild beer)

Price - Rs. 100 per 750 ml bottle at beer shops (Mumbai price)

Availability - This is a problem. It is available only at upmarket bars & beer shops. But still, it is widely available in metros like Mumbai, Delhi & Banglore.

All in all, a good light beer with great taste & crispness.
