We went as a couple and two children (under 5 years) to this resort in October 2012. The resort was fabulous (great service, good food, green lawns, warm rooms, and good entertainment). Accessibility is very poor.. We took the taxi from the airport (got fleeced here. please take the taxi from the government counter outside the departure lounge. The akbar travels inside the airport has horrible taxis and charge 20% more. After we reached the resort, virtually we had no contact with the outside world. Really lonely spot.
The private beach had beautiful white soft sands, The water was clean and had star fishes, shells and . It is wonderful to walk in the water. The water is very shallow here. People walked upto 1/2km inside. There was jet skiing and para sailing going on.
Excellent lawns, baby pool was awesome. Pool settings were perfect. Their sightseeing packages are expensive, better to go in your own vehicle.
There were atleast 50-60 foreigners (7-8 groups) from different countries when we went there. They all looked happy too! I heard it is a favorite among the Russians!
