''Agar Firdaus bar rooe zaminast , hamin asto hamin asto hamin ast''(If there is paradies on earth, it is only here , it is only here, it is only here) When Shah Jahan spoke these words about Kashmir, I am sure he didnt know that there was this place called Cape Town, which can easily draw a parallell to one of the most beautiful places on earth.

A city situated on the southern most tip of the Continent of Africa, this place has all that you have ever hoped for in a holidaying destination. Beautiful beaches, attractive women, captivating mountains...this place has it all. A whole range of places you can see, one of the most famous is the table mountain. Also called the smoky mountain, because the tip is mostly covered with a cloud of smoke, it is a towering structure which oversees the entire city. A cable car takes you to the top, where you can have a bird eye view of the city , which is breathtaking to say the least. With many other mountains surrounding this one, on a clear day, it truely is magnificent, what with clouds surrounding you and the nice sun on your back making you hum ''sunshine...on my shoulders makes me happy''. Ah.. John Denver would love it here.

The Robben Island , the place where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned catches your eye from the top. This country has had its share of strifes, what with the apartheid and the ''oppression of the non-whites'', and the Robben Island is a stark reminder of the cold history that this country has gone through. The ''new South Africa'' however has seen a distinct mix of all the communities coming together and taking this beautiful country to a new high.

A whole afternoon in Table Mountain is a great feeling, and you can spend the next half of the day by making a visit to the vineyards of Stellenbosch. Believe me, that is the most fascinating place you can ever go to. Taken straight out of some fairy tale storybook, this place is a picture of solitude and angelic bliss. If you want to get rid of the daily cacophony and experience a state of harmony in your senses, come here. Beautiful gardens, lovely ponds with ducks , nice sun, and an absolute non existence of cacophony. what more does a person want in life. you can come here to taste one of famous South african wines, which appeal to your senses as you take a sip of the variety of wines that are made here. Take along a picnic basket, and spend the day in the sunny environs of Stellenbosch. You will never forget it.

Next , you can check out the Cape Of good hope. Vasco Da gama landed here in search of land, and a towering lighthouse is built here to warn the ships about rough seas. the people in the lighthouse used to get so lonely that they built rest houses and invited people in the city to stay with them sometimes. : ) If you come to cape town dont miss the cape L'aghallus, the southermost tip of africa. Fondly called the ''place where 2 oceans meet'', this is the place where the warm currents of the Indian Ocean kiss the cold waters of the Atlantic. A truely gratifying experience. There is a sign, which points to the right and says ''Atlantic Ocean'' , pointsto the left and says ''Indian Ocean''. cool.aint it? ''A place where 2 oceans meet''.

There are lotsa places where you can eat , and a place near the cape l'aghallus is Arminston. This is said to be a ship which sunk here while coming from India. A nice place to eat , where you get nice Malay food. oh man I can go on and on and on about this place... it is so beautiful, in a nutshell a must see for anybody who loves travelling and enjoying life.
