This Pixma Printer from Canon is super. No problems. I have modified the printer
into a Continuous Ink Supply system with generic inks and works WONDERS. Of course
I know that voids warranty but the period is over anyway, so I guess its OK to
use generic inks now.
I had a problem once when the device was not recognized
and the comp said USB device not recognized several times over , but rectified
the problem by simply removing the power cable of my PC and putting it back. When
I turned on the printer and PC again it worked and was recognized again by the
PC. Microsoft and other sites says that this is due to a static buildup in the
motherboard. I guess the problem is not even a major one in the first place. If
you're a buying a Canon (any Canon) go for it. You won't regret it. :)
