I have had the Canon 105 Zoom aprrox 15 months, and can say that it takes excellent photos. It is neat and compact in size and weight, and is coloured silver at the front with a black centre piece; and is black on the back. It comes with its own leather case (with a strong Velcro fastening), and a long strap that is attached to the camera itself. The instruction book, in 6 languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Portuguese) is self-explanatory with a good table of contents.

The camera is operated using 1 Lithium battery (DL123A or CR123A, 3V) which is easy to load. I have not had to change the battery as yet and I must have taken over 15 x 24 exposure films. There are many different features I have used on lots of occasions. These include: Zoom levels of between 38mm (wide-angled) and 105 (telephoto) which can be altered manually when looing through the view-finder. This I used a lot in Canada for distance shots. Auto flash with or without red-eye reduction. I use without red-eye for taking photos without people; and with red-eye for people taking in dark conditions. I have noticed that the flash is automatically operated in any light conditions if necessary. This is supposed to help soften the outlines within the photo. There is also a self-timer which I have not used yet. The films are easy to load, and when finished they rewind automatically. The number on top shows the exposure you are at and is easily read. Problem solving would be easy to overcome with the manual.

But, to date, I have had no use for this. I will keep taking photos using this camera., and therefore can recommend this camera to any prospective buyer.
