Why I Purchased?
After completing graduation, I started doing job with the aim to collect some money to buy a camera for the planned trip, which was few months after the job joining. I just love capturing and being captured in the cameras, for me a trip is incomplete without photographs. This was the reason of my purchase. Before purchasing it, I was confused between Nikon and Canon but find Canon's features better as per my budget.
What's Best In This?
I just love my camera, not just because I brought it from my hard earned money but also due to its several features and excellent picture clarity. Following are some of the qualities that make me love my cam:

-Full HD Video option with stereo sound
-Movie button for easy access
-GPS tracker which helps me in recording the location in videos/ photos
-14x Optical Zoom
-Fantastic wide-angle lens.
-Camera settings for predefined shooting situations
-LCD Screen
-Light weight
-Catchy design
-Longer battery life
Till the time of more than 4 years of purchase, I am happy with its performance.
On suggestion of one of the colleagues, @rajiv22, I am adding few more points. Special thanks to him for these suggestions.
-I easily capture around 220 images with fully charged battery of the camera.
-Also the cam gives pictures of excellent clarity in the noon but somehow it quality declines while capturing the pix in night. It's flash light is not that good.
