I purchased canon mp 160 for which now I am regretting. Its been a month only and without even printing a single colour printout my more than half ink is Lost.
When contacted in care center I heard the most Unbelievable answer which is, " This (CANON) printer uses a drop of Ink when switched on EVERYTIME you start the printer".
Meaning whether you take a printout or not your one precious drop of ink is wasted which means when you on/off your printer 10-15 times a day without a single printout your half of ink is gone. Its TRUE. It also means you require to refill or purchase them every month irrespective of printouts.
I had used HP printer also and had never come across such problem. Infact today also it gives me fine printing without much hassle of cartridges. I have just refilled once both black and colour cartridges in a year giving me fond memories.
My advise to all is PLEASE PLEASE DONT waste your money on purchasing ANY Canon Printer.
