Its a great printer. the canon pixma mobile app allows u to setup and use various functions. I was able to scan a pic to my phone very easily.
its preferred that u connect the printer.thru your router so that you can remote print via pixma or air or google cloud. very useful in case you needed a print from your office like a map for your.kid. you can also use direct wifi if you dont have router but for cloud print you need your latop hooked up to the printer and internet bit tricky to have wifi connected to one laptop
it also is two side duplex printer. so no need to flip it.
the print quality is great. you can also print your photo and tshirt transfers. of course need the right paper.
with all these features at the price its the best home printer.
