Iam using it shooting in cricket superleagues games with canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS lens. Iam completely satisfied with my images, considering the limited ISO of the camera. Iam also shooting nature portrait and everything an enthusiast like to shoot. I also shoot under the rain without protection, in very low temperature of 4 C and it works perfect! A feature that is not mention in the review is the pixel density which is very important.
I would recommend you to get the equivalent of this camera . The nikon D60 . picture wise they are equal with their kit lenses. But add other lenses Nikon's AF-S lenses are far superior and can rival d3000, d3100, d 5000& other nikon new entry level dslrs. The feel of D90 ergonomically well build you may consider getting canon 500d instead of you're canon user.
