I am using it from May 2015 till now. I bought Canon 100D from Dubai for 1799 AED(30k indian Rupees) because of 2 reason I like compact form factor and yet I am passionate of Dslr Photography and I dont want to carry big and heavy dslr.
And it was available cheaply to with 2 lens(18-55 kit lens and EF 50mm f/1.8 II which is best lens) which was in my budget. But in india it is available at 45k which is really expensive in my opinion better you can buy nikon d3300.
My experience is pretty good so far it perform pretty well am really happy . it has touch screen which really helpful and performance is ok too. Image quality is good but not the best I have seen nikon entry level perform better but nikon lack in easy to use interface and no touch screen and also nikon doesnot provide changing of aperture in video mode which canon does. It has all feature of Dslr in compact form factor and works fine. its hybrid autofocus is slow but accurate when shooting in live view or video mode. Lowlight performance is not upto par with nikon but you can manage.
This product is not recommended if you are buying from india. but any where else if you get it around 30k with 2 lens then it is great option. and this is for all who like to carry light weight dslr and shoot wherever possible and want to start photography because of its easy interface and touch screen works flawlessly and good image quality.
