As we all know canon is a big brand and so the product will be good, I say yes the product is good but I will say not affordable lets see how Good and Bad about this printer I start with Good features
Good
1) You can print at 0 Margin that mean you can print on complete A4 paper end to end
2) Photo printing is good
3) Priniting Speed id good
4) Scanner quality is good
Bad
1) Default ink cartridge dont have long life
2) You cannot refill even if you get it refill by a trick no guarantee how long it will work
3) you cannot print if any1 of the cartridge is missing or empty you will get lots of error msg on the screen and you printer various light keep blinking which will make you confused
4) you cannot scan if ink cartridge is missing
5) You cannot use the printer if any of the error light id blinking so if u only want to use a scanner and your ink cartridge is faulty you cant scan you have to get a new cartridge in order to make the scanner work or you have to google various trick in order to make you printer to use only scan mode.
My advice not user friendly
