During my last visit to the USA me and my cousin were at K Mart deciding which camera to buy. He picked a Sony Digicam and I went for the Canon Analog version. The picture quality in Canon cameras are amazing. During that time I was not very sure on digital cameras (due to the price factor and storage of pictures).

Later on I realized their value and decided to go for the same. Did a lot of on websites like https://dpreview.com and I had to decide between Nikon, Canon and Sony purely on picture quality. Sony had a Carl Zeus lens which is good and Nikon had some real sleek cameras. I loved the sleek option but was not sure about the handling of the same especially when we hand over to someone to shoot.

I decided on the Canon A520 based on picture quality and features. Its got amazing features for a beginner. The stitch mode and various light modes. The adjustment of shutter speed and aperture and the facility to add more wide angle lenses and zoom lenses. The camera is sturdy and comes with free memory cards and batteries with charger. The only draw back I see is the speed of operation which can be overlooked. OVER ALL ITS VALUE FOR MONEY.
