There is no love sincerer than the love of food. ~ George Bernard Shaw

Well if this statement is true then I am a true worshipper. I love not only cooking different cuisines and experimenting with them but trying out new places and tantalizing my taste buds with different recipes.

Candles and cuisines is a fine vegetarian dining in Vaishali Nagar. A good vegetarian restaurant nearby is always an incentive for me. So, I decided to explore more.

Ambiance : A small fountain at the entrance and a swanky neon lit signage can make anyone who is hunting for some dining place stop. Ambience is good. The mirror work and small focus lights reflecting warm lights which are not bright gives a very warm effect to the place. Around 18 tables cater for 80-85 people. The Air conditioners are uniformly distributed. Seating space is not congested and gives enough privacy to enjoy your meal without getting peeping peeks. They have even small cabins, in case you want to keep your meal a complete secret. The candle stand which lit up the moment you settle down makes you feel good.

Service : Being a regular customer to this place, I feel that the staff is very courteous and co operative. They can handle a group of naughty kids with a smile and make you feel comfortable. The service with smile actually happens. Sometimes when the restaurant is fully occupied, which happens very often, the food comes a little late but then a perfectly cooked food, where the overload has no impact on the quality and quantity, makes you feel that it is worth the wait. Something that I admire over here is when I see the owners attending the tables, when the staff is short or is overloaded. I guess they know work is worship.

Food : They serve North Indian, south Indian, Chinese, Italian and fast food. The menu is comprehensive and is divided in Soups, fast food, north Indian, south Indian, Chinese, Italian and desserts. The quantity served is sufficient. Platters and combos are diligently created. In case we want to change or substitute something in platter they do it with a smile. Starters are good; I go for a platter because I love the preparations. Soups are also well prepared and are fresh. They have a good sizzler range and I love to order Paneer Shashlik as the mustard flavour is very distinct and gives the cottage cheese a very different flavour. The Junglee roti is the chef special, but I am yet to try this delicacy here. Hakka noodles have a different flavour, may be the slightly different shape makes my taste buds go gaga. The choupsey sauce is given in a sufficient quantity and is not very sweet, which is at times at many places, and is a complete turn off for me. The north Indian food is also very well prepared and dal makhani and paneer dishes are carefully prepared as they taste awesome every time I order them. The desserts are good but I am so full by the time we reach that section that I am yet to explore that section. Well, I enjoy the meal more as when I leave this place I feel full and don’t get the burps. A fresh food gives us this feeling. Belly rules the mind, if that is true then I can say I feel very light and fresh after eating there.

Well, they have first line of entrepreneurship that has entered this field and they are doing well here. They know how to make their customer happy. They have started a small banquet hall in the same vicinity which has a discotheque corner and can easily cater 60-80 people.

Hygiene and cleanliness is another incentive of this place. Neat and tidy napkins, a fresh décor, and sparkling clean cutlery and crockery is a must but is maintained by a few. I am happy they know their basics well.

Cost : The meal for two can cost you Rs. 250 (approx) which is quite reasonable and is worth every bite.

In all, I wish they continue their services like this and keep growing with the ever increasing customer smiles.
