CAMBAY-Just stay away from this brand name. Review on Cambay Hotels And Resorts, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad

Hi, I am from Gandhinagar and am fully agree with all the above reviews and believe their word to word experience with Cambay. Because I have just slightly escaped from their trap. The story begins like this------ I simply filled up a Cambay form available at reliance fresh shop.And after a few days I I was called by a very sweet voice and informed that I was the luckiest child on earth as I won a gift coupon by Cambay with 2 nights and 3 days holiday package and was invited to the Cambay Resort in Gandhinagar but alongwith my family only.

Well! we went , welcomed and sitted very comfortably. Some 2-3 others families and couples were also on separate tables. One of the Reps sat with us and the drama started. First of all, he introduced himself and Cambay group and discussed about my hobbies, my car , daily routine and all. Then he offered me membership to Cambay Group with their money sucker plan like, 'Time share or ownership of studio, 1 -2 BHK room etc.' And insisted me to avail the offer and make some down payment right there as It was offered to me being a honorable winner.

Even we were shown their Spa, Golf club, discotheque etc. and explained the benefits can be availed being a member. After solid three hours class, I refused and asked for that gift coupon and lastly he handed it over but was not interested much to explain the terms and condition for that.And now most dramatic part of the story- as I was ready to leave the room, that Mr. Rep stood up and introduced me to other families, " Friends! I would like to introduce Mr....(me) and we welcome him to Cambay Group!" My foot!! It was purely nonsense. As I came out from the room I asked that Suited Booted Mr.Rep in pure Rashtra Bhasha, " Yar! Jab Meine Aaap logo ki koi membership nahi li hai to fir aap aise kyo bole logo ko?" He said, " Sir, I announced bacause you are winner of our holiday package." I replied, " then Baki log kya muje dekhane aye the?" He was speechless then.I was quite angry but didn't want to make any drama over there as I was with my family.

And now latest update I calculated the actual expenditure that free gift coupon and it was around Rs.2000/- including taxes, processing fees etc....cheer up!!! Friends! Just stay away this word and that is CAMBAY!
