The Calangute beach was the best one I came across during my recent trip to Goa. Calangute is also one of the biggest beaches you will come across in Goa. For this reason, in spite of numerous people visiting it every day, the beach never actually gets crowded. And this is a big plus point for someone like me who loves to enjoy nature peacefully.
The Calangute beach is also an excellent place for water sports action. In fact, it's renowned for activities such as jet skiing, banana rides, water surfing, and parasailing. Although I am not a big fan of water sports, I still tried jet skiing for the first time in my life here at the Calangute beach. It turned out to be an amazing experience!
This beach is a perfect place for those who love seafood like me. You will find numerous shacks in the beach serving mouthwatering seafood. I tried tiger prawns. And believe me, I can still feel their flavor melting in my mouth while writing this review.
Placed between Candolim and Baga beach, the Calangute beach can be easily accessed from all parts of Goa. I spotted plenty of hotels and accommodations close to the beach as well. As far as local sightseeing is concerned, you will find plenty of shopping opportunities near this beach. The scenic area around the beach is also dotted with small bars and restaurants at the same time. The presence of lifeguards also makes this beach quite safe!
