Cafe Royal colaba used to be most frequented place by me for good 4 years or so.Thier disco called Headquaters (HQ) was very popular for playing very good music. The crowd was mostly the youngsters college going kids.The dance floor pretty small and the place full of smoke.It use to be a gas chamber once upon a time but now after renovation things are better. The food is strictly ok.If u r not walking up to the bar the keep a count of ur own drinks rather than depend on the waiters count. they stictly do not allow stags on weekends and the entry charge use to be 500RS. The music was good as long as DJ Alex was there. And HQ use to remain open till 4 am .That was the best part of that disco. try it only U are low on cash for Athena likes. nowadays they shut down at 1 am like any other disco.
Pros : Reasonable entry charges
Cons: all college students only
