I visited CCD park street Kolkata on 3rd night. I along with my wife and another couple went there near midnight. To our surprise, they refused to sell cappuccino. The rude guy at counter told us that we need buy flavoured cappaccino. Buying chocolate brownie was also not allowed. A frappe was not also not allowed without an add-on.
Basically, they wanted us to buy what they wanted to sell not what we wanted to drink and eat. Being a frequent visitor to CCD, it came as a huge surprise. On protesting, the counter guy actually gave me my money back and asked us to leave. The duty manager was equally unhelpful and rude. these guys actually should be extra polite as Barista is just next to this store.
very reluctantly, I had to put with all this as it was my birthday and I had invited my friends for coffee. Don't think I will ever prefer a CCD again.
