Creamy Chocolate. Review on Cadbury Dairy Milk

Chocolates there are many, but Cadbury’s Dairymilk is one of my preferred brands.

Dairymilk has been my favorite chocolate since childhood. In fact, for a long time, I believed that the word ‘Dairymilk’ was a synonym for ‘chocolate’!

Now, after having tasted many different varieties and brands of chocolates, good old Dairymilk is still my preference. It tastes really good.

Let me tell you some interesting facts about Dairymilk.

Cadbury first introduced Dairymilk way back in 1905. The three colors associated with Dairymilk wrapper are purple blue, white and golden.

It’s the unique flavor and texture of Dairymilk that makes me reach for one whenever I feel like eating chocolate.It’s soft, creamy and the quality of chocolate is excellent.

Cocoa, milk powder and sugar are the main ingredients of dairymilk.

Special flavors are produced when these ingredients are mixed together in the first stages of chocolate making process, giving Dairymilk its special taste.

As you start eating the chocolate- enjoying the wholesome goodness of milk and cocoa, you get almost addicted to the perfect taste of this chocolate.

Basically, a chocolate should have the perfect proportion of bitterness and sweetness in it. It should neither be too bitter nor too sweet. Dairymilk has that magical combination.

Another important quality of a chocolate is its freshness.So, try to eat it at room temperature and make sure that you buy a neatly packed fresh bar.

Dairymilk advertisements are also worth mentioning. The catchy line “Kya swaad hain zindagi ka! ” seems to have really gained popularity.

The chocolate is a sweet treat, but excessive consumption isn’t good for health.

I rarely have to buy Dairymilk for myself. It’s a sweet gift to receive and I always feel delighted when I receive one. I often gift it to my friends, too. One doesn’t need a special occasion to gift a Dairymilk. I especially buy it for little children (and some childish adults) who just love this chocolate. The regular size Dairymilk is suitable for sharing with 2 to 4 people.

Now, if you are eating it alone, if possible, finish the entire bar, since the taste is perfect at room temperature.

Dairymilk doesn’t contain any wafers, raisins, etc. Since I like it the way it is, I have no complaints. But, if you a raisin fan, you can go for the ‘fruit and nut’ variety.

This chocolate is easily available everywhere. You don’t have to go to some special shop to buy it. Most of the imported brand varieties are available at select outlets whereas Dairymilk is well marketed.

Its price is reasonable and cheaper compared to some big brands.
