Dairy Milk - Cheers for Chocolate

Many people do not allow their kids to eat chocolates everyday but personally I don’t think giving children chocolates is all that bad of a thing. Chocolate is just another food. It is so important now days to teach our kids the importance of a balanced diet. There is no reason why chocolate can’t be a part of that. My kids have never been denied any sort of food and I am happy of their eating habits.

My kids love to eat all types of chocolate but their favorite is Cadbury Dairy Milk. It just melts in mouth and gives a great taste of sweetness. It has a really great taste, smell and look, the packaging and the chocolate itself.

The Dairy milk has a very distinctive flavour, it differs from other chocolates as it's a lot creamier, but still has lots of chocolate taste. Dairy milk chocolate has been around for years, and now they have many different varieties of dairy milk bars such as caramel, mint, bubbles, fruit and nut but my kids’ favourite is just a plain and simple bar of chocolate.

A nice chocolate treat is just what my kids need sometimes, and I find there's nothing better than a nice bar of Dairy Milk. The standard size bar comes in six square which is soft & easy to break; I just love to see my two kids sharing their chocolates & joys. I love to see my kids smile when I give them chocolates. Though we all grown up enjoying chocolate as a favourite treat, and generations have known that chocolate makes us feel good, but there's a wealth of research that suggests that people can feel even better about enjoying it.

Recently I read some useful & interesting facts about chocolate. According to the Journal of American Dietetic Association, There are over 300 substances that could provide numerous health benefits. Chocolate produces serotonin, which gives the feeling of blissful happiness. It also lowers that mount of bad cholesterol in the body which could have lead to several heart ailments.

Researchers are continually discovering ways in which chocolate can make us feel better whether it be lifting mood, or boosting antioxidant levels. The cocoa contains high levels of naturally occurring polyphenols that have antioxidant properties and work by fighting the free radicals, which attack cells causing disease and accelerated ageing.

Another great health benefit of chocolate is longevity. It has Oleic acid, an acid which is found in cocoa butter which is responsible for raising the amount of good cholesterol in the body. Plus the amount of flavinoids like Epicatechin, found in chocolates helps in relaxing and widening of the blood vessels, helps you avoid strokes and heart attacks.

However, not all types of chocolates could give the same helpful benefits. There are several types of chocolates that are available in the market, all over the world. Milk chocolate should avoid in large quantities because it contains major amounts of fat which is bad for the heart. The best type of chocolate which contains all the benefits are the dark chocolate. It's good to eat it in large quantities.

Experts have even pointed out that "chocolate is a blend of flavours and aromas so complex that food chemists have never been able to duplicate it in the lab." One may never understand why chocolate makes us feel good, but it's clear that there's a lot to it beyond fabulous taste.

A recent study has suggested that eating chocolate may improve the way our brains work. The theobromine and phenylethylamine, as well as the caffeine in chocolate were shown to increase alertness and mental performance.

Excessive consumption of chocolate and sweets in general is not advised for people with certain health problems. Diabetics, for example, should confine themselves to sugar-free chocolate. People who suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome also may want to avoid chocolate, since the stimulating effects on the brain and body can be followed by a sugar low.
