Chocolate is Sexy. Review on Cadbury Dairy Milk

“What have you brought for me?”

We were in my living room, all alone, and as a soft tune played on a lovely saxophone filled the ambience, Tina, my sweetest friend ever, asked me;

“What have you brought for me?”

“Guess.” I replied, winking playfully at her as a broad and engaging smile spread across her beautiful face.

“Give me a hint…”

“Well… it’s sweet…”

“It always is!”

“Well… it’s soft and tender…”

“Wow! Hmm…”

“It’s sweet surrender…”

“You’re scaring me.”

“Let’s make a moment,” I said, moving a little closer.

“Amol!”

“A moment to savor at the tip of your tongue and let the sensation run down your body…” I said moving closer all the while.

“AMOL!”

“Chocolate?”

A bar wrapped in blue fell with a soft flump on the sofa beside her. It was the damn cutest moment. Don’t these girls just love being teased?==

== The Review ==

Sometimes when the mind is tired and hurt and one wants sympathy, one does stumble upon one aspect of human nature. Nobody can give you pure sympathy. Everyone will have an opinion of his own and his own advice about the matter. And if it’s a patient year you want, no person will be able to help you out. That is how humans are! So, what do I do when I need pure sympathy devoid of intellectual doses?

I escape reality. I bite a large chunk out of Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Chocolate!

== Have Some Chocolate!==

Ah! The blue wrapper and the familiar white title bar and the loopy writing reading “Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Chocolate” lies before you. On the sides, you see a golden wrapper, begging to be opened. The chocolate inside is craving to be touched by the tongue… Carefully, you undress the chocolate bar. Neat squares colored brown stare at you now… The mild aroma of rich milk chocolate creeps up to your nose, slowly and gradually. Ah! But the scent is so seducing! As you inhale the sweet, soft , rich but mild aroma of chocolate, you find your mouth watering. Your tongue is begging to taste it, desperate for that one single moment of ecstacy…

Suddenly, horribly, unwarrantably, a fat number swims before your eyes. Mon Dieu, it is the number of calories! But you can not resist! You cannot deny your senses this treat. Ah! The dilemma is painful. And you succumb to temptation, fall prey to the seduction… you lose yourself to the attraction…

Your teeth sink slowly into the softened bar of chocolate biting off a small first bite… Ah! What ecstasy do they say is hidden in the first kiss exchanged with your lover? It is all here, in this first bite as it melts slowly and smoothly in the mouth… Your tongue is having a ball (needless to say, metaphorically). Slowly, the rich, sweet and smooth morsel of pure enjoyment slides down your throat and into the stomach. Ah! The stomach moans in satisfaction! Where is the second bite? I want more!

Oh! What longing do they say is hidden in going all the way with your over for the first time? It is al here, in savoring every morsel of this bar of chocolate, slowly and carefully.

CADBURY’S Dairy Milk is a premium rich, milk chocolate. Though it did come under some controversy recently, Cadbury’s Dairy Milk is the one single product the company has not found a good competitor for hitherto. I daresay, a good chunk of their business in the chocolates segment comes from this product. With a rich taste that is ever enjoyably, Dairy Milk is the only chocolate true to it’s name—no wafers, no flavors, no nuts of fruits embedded… it is a bar of pure chocolate. Excuse me. It is a bar of pure ecstasy.

Speaking about controversy reminds me. Cadbury’s production facility was under scrutiny recently. Truth be told, the hygienic conditions of the plants is always impeccable. The trouble comes up at the level of the distributor. The distributor is a local trader with a license to use the brand name. It is at this level that the hygiene is really poor at times. The only precaution one can take is to check the manufacturing date and the condition of the packaging every time you purchase this product. Anything more than four months old is on the verge and the slightest puncture to the packaging is a cause for alarm. Unfortunately, to cut costs the trader makes complete mincemeat out of regulations. One can only do so much to secure oneself. But trust me. It is quite unlikely that the bar of chocolate at your local friendly grocer should have arthropods embedded in it.

Enjoy your chocolate at peace. Only check the packing date and the wrapper every time!

I must apologize for this sudden “coming of age” of my review titles. The reason I gave such a title must therefore be explained. The thing is this. The feeling you get while eating a bar of chocolate has an uncanny similarity with the feeling you get while exchanging a kiss with your lover. It would be kind if you refrain from asking me if I speak out of experience. Nevertheless, I confess I am indeed speaking from an experience. And what a rapturous thing it is to be confessing it!
