Let me begin by telling , I am not marketing for CNBC. As a novice to the field of business, would like to share with you about this channel.
when compared to existing channels, present in India, the news produced by this channel seems to be the least exagerated . After watching the horrors of news making or news creation, thru NDTV, AAJ TAAK and the leader among them The times, CNBC is thousand times better. I feel it is more balanced. The programs which make an impression on me, the India Business Hour, which covers the key aspects of the day in a decent fashion.It starts from 9.00PM till 10.00PM. Too bad it clashes with my favourite non business program Tom and Jerry on cartoon network.
Managing India is an interesting program where businessmen and professionals from various diverse fields are interviewed, like Deepak Parekh, suresh krishna of sundaram fasteners. The program is quite informative, you get quite useful information especially if you are keen on knowing how to manage an enterprise.
Atleast one of the biggest reliefs with this channel is that , they dont pass judgements on issues, and just report them.
E-Life is an interesting program especially if you are techno freak , which I am, you will find this programme interesting, especially you will encounter latest trends in web, plus electronic gadgetry , new product launches, etc quite interesting , a informative program. comes on Mondays and Fridays check out the timings at the site.
CNBC sponsors a lot of seminars on various topics and we get to see key highlights of that particular seminar. These and all are quite interesting. I picked most of the information about how stock market operates thru this channel, May be it is not completely right, but definetely you get quite an idea about the stock market.
On the downside, this is not a channel for those who prefer, extensive political, social news. All you will get here only headlines of key political and social news. Focus is on more business related aspects.
so if you would prefer watching cnbc, start by watching India Business Hour. It is a fine programme , especially if you are keen on knowing business topics.
One thing is sure, that we will not be mentally exploited (or informed, I dont know) by showing , a poverty ridden or so called social disaster or a dead body everyday, which most of the news channel specialize in . This kind of non sense atleast will not be there.
