I write this review after going through the views expressed by my fellow members and friends below and I see that most people were disappointed with the fee and maybe they would not have complained if it was 20-30% lesser.Yes, Its quite obvious that we should have a healthy price-performance ratio but is it that easy when it comes to your child's education and health. These are 2 areas where you want the best and one would stretch a bit to give the best(more so for the latter).maybe that's the reason we see a lot of schools and hospitals mushrooming. It's quite natural that we will hesitate to pay such high fees because

1) We may not have paid a similar amount for our school education .

2) We tend to wonder as to how different are they from the schools we studied in.

3) Why is the college management making so much money and we cant see any tangible benefits in terms of facilities

My daughter has been with the school and honestly, I'm very happy with the school.Yes, I agree with my friend who stated below that there is only a cemented ground but I guess, we very well knew that when we admitted our child into the school.Complaining later is not justified.I'm an alumni of FAPS and it was regarded one of the best schools in the city when I passed out( eighty's).I did go there and found that as an alumni I will definitely get a seat for my child and the yearly fee was Rs13000/- only. But I chose CMR paying almost Rs70, 000/- because of the proximity and didnt want a 4 year old to travel 2-3 hours a day. After 2 years I have decided my child is going to stay because

1) As mentioned earlier(proximity)

2) Well balanced work load

3) and the most important factor - VERY GOOD FACULTY.

The last point is the key differentiator and I understood that many schools dipped in performance and hence reputation due to good teachers leaving them.FAPS is a live example, and many schools continuously excelled due to their capabilities of retaining good teachers and NPS, I think is the best example for this.I also realised that CMR teachers are well paid and a teacher friend told me that they are the best in the Banaswadi area. So, Obviously this is one of the many expenses that the fees you are paying is catering to. Ofcourse, no denying the management is also making money, but if the child is studying well and you can see value, then why care as to how much someone is making. After all its their business.

You also need funds for future expansions and incorporating new technologies and facilities, so there maybe expenses.I'm not justifying there stance of collecting high fees but I feel that if one is staying close by and afford this fees, then its a wonderful school and strongly recommend it.

Rgds,

Santosh
