My family has been associated with CKC for the last 40 years. My parents were always buying Gold items from CKC and so the trend continued with me. I used to regularly invest in the Gold Saving Scheme. Every time there was a problem at the time of the closing of the scheme.
Non at CKC know how to handle the closing of savings schemes, It took time, but I finally realised that it is all a game, They create a major confusion and create so much delay that the customer is frustrated and accept whatever is given. Coming out we realise that the final money paid will be equal to the current Gold rate as on the date of purchase.
The Gold Saving scheme says that the Gold is parted as per the dates of payment and the scheme helps us save on the increasing Gold rates. But on any item purchased the wastages and making charges are exorbitantly high and the net cost is brought to the current Gold rates.
Its a nightmare to remember the last transaction I had with CKC. My Savings scheme came to a closing and I was at CKC with my family. Believe me ... No exaggerations ... It took them (CKC Staff) 6 hours to close the calculation for my scheme. I landed up throwing my credit card and shouting at them to close the damn transaction and I will never return to CKC.
THAT WAS MY LAST TRANSACTION WITH CKC. I HAVE NOW CHANGED TO ANOTHER GOLD SHOP SINCE 2 YEARS AND I AM VERY VERY VERY HAPPY. JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE TOTALLY TRANSPARENT IN THEIR DEALINGS.
I am not giving there name here because I don’t want this post to sound like a marketing post. This post is purely to share my views about CKC.
CKC IS SURVIVING JUST ON THEIR PAST GLORY.
