First check engine.
Start engine and run it at least 30 minute.
Check the engine oil conditions by removing the dipstick.
Check engine oil color, healthy engine would have brown or golden brown color oil but completely black engine oil is an indication the car is not in service since long time.
Check the engine oil filler cap and it's head gaps.
Check radiator very smartly, there is having any leakage problem or not.
Check coolant condition and it's color.
Check color of exhaust gases( Blue color is an indication the car is in well and running condition but extremely black dark color is an indication the car have issue with burning fuel .
Check all internal features like air conditioner, indicator, music system, air bag(if available), window glass etc.
