Review: Buyyin a car, if you have never done it and it is the first car that you are buyyin and that to a second hand one a third hand or any thing more, how to chose it? well as far as cars are considered I think I am the best or if you are buying you should tell yourself you are the best abouve which the mechanic comes, but mind you are the one paying for it soo u r the best,

  1. the first thing is to buy always a car which you have liked the design and what ever is the advise by others on whats best.

  2. second fact is very simple if you are planing to buy a 95 model fiat or honda or accord what ever, just keep in mind that you are buying a car that was first prototyped in 90(so five years back) it takes atleast 5 years for a car to shift from 2dsketch to production(i ve met experts who say so)

3.leave the price, some hundreds or thousand s this way or that way you can sell your car again to some one who will be more stupid than us after an year or so .

  1. a car is not a life time wife, so it should always be an present or ex girl friend, means unless the car is a real prototype and only a hundred of them existing in the world like the prosche Spider or bently /rolls royce1952-60. its no use is planing to keep them with us for decades .

  2. use and dispatch is what I believe in, if some one is really intrested in second hand cars be prepared to sale it again after say 30000 km max or 50 not more than it or 1.5 years at max, go for another second hand one another model, so you will have a change and you will look rich too,

6.the first drive, when normaly you take a first test drive the previous owner will be beside you, soo just try to look at the dash board or something and in high way press the accelerator say 60-70 km and leave it all of a sudden, if the RPM meter come down fastly, and when you pump gas it should raise stedily, and fall freely and fast when not pumping gas, that shows the engine is quite good response, and dont need a piston or piston rings change in near future(at least for next 20k kms)

7.dont go to the owner and ask for small parts like zackie and seat covers etc, the owner should be free to give them once he is happy with the price or better say our the buyer it self .

  1. tell him what you all know about automobiles and cote him why you are buyying this say you passion or something .you can even lie, to make your self look experienced in automobiles,

9.dont ever tell him you used to use japan or korea cars not even some northeren europe cars(in india you can use)as they are said to be cheap cars worldwide except in india or asia .

  1. buy a big brand though it is older than a smaller brand, (an example buying a 95 BMW and buying a 97 renault makes a difference as in one year or two years time your renault will look more older than your BMW it's because of the make, paint shop, press all too techinical to shout in MS)

11.if you are buying this new age cars just remove all the plastic parts on the engine and then give a through mecanic check ofcoarse every one knows it I dont need to cote it .

12.if it is a 4Wd then lift it on a hydraulic jack, as 4WD with even good engines may have a chasis problem which will not surface unless you are the best at the wheel and during turns you can feel it .

  1. the exteriour, how to find it there was a dent or a thing on the external of the car, just go to the back or front of the car and look at the sides of the car, if there was any and repaired you can spot the colour shine .

14.brakes and suspension can be checked at once, when you ride the car in city and stop it and then try to proceed, the car should come down I mean the suspension should react and givea spring feel just when you are about to start from stop that says that the coil springs or tubular suspensions are working good .

  1. if you are trying to buy a really old one, just see behind the doors or the place just where the door sits and the inside of the glass front door beading, that is the place where the car first starts to rust .if you find even a bit of rust just indicate it to the owner so that the price may go down .

  2. tell the owner how much it takes for you to repair a pirticular problem and sometimes it is good even to exagarate it by telling the show room prices .

  3. hear the engine and if it gives our any metal vibrations in engine hiss thats the piston pinsneed to given an adjustment. but that is no use forget that car .

  4. the last thing the second hand car does not depend on how many owners it had but is surely depends on it last two owners, if the last owner was a rich man intrested in cars he should have for sure maintained it in perfect condition at least for his use, unless he is crocked at mind .

  5. croked advise is, for the cars driven by purely lady drivers you can never estimate its price as some ladies just go to show rooms if they spot a problem(hardly do they care unless a brother or father points it) and the remaining lady drivers will just ignore any thing unless the car is really bad that it cant start those are the worst cars to be found.
