So you want to buy a new TV but confused which one to buy? Just read this review to find out how to choose a TV.

Select a size that is suitable for the place where its going to be used. Now a days Televisions come in many sizes starting from 20 inch going to up to 75 inches, and even more.

What's worth noting here is that small TV's typically 20 to 24 inches in size would generally have a Low resolution of 1366x768 pixels, often referred to as Widescreen HD Resolution, which is the norm for the Computer monitors now a days. So, these TV's are more like monitors except that they have speakers built in to them. So make to buy a TV at least 32 inches in size. It will provide you a relatively better 1920*1080 Resolution.

Now, there are several kinds of TV's namely CRT, LCD, LED, AMOLED, OLED. These are the technologies TV's work on. CRT and LCD are old technology which are no longer in production and takes more power. Hence there is no point in buying a CRT or LCD TV.

You should definitely buy an LED TV. These TV's have a high contrast ratio and a low power consumption. This is what makes them popular worldwide. AMOLED and OLED are the advanced versions of LED. AMOLED is a term commonly associated with Samsung Devices, these are very bright displays, however not necessarily better. While OLED is the best display Type in existence as of now, mainly produced by LG but they are too expensive to buy.

Besides the technology, TV's can be classified on the basis of features. like Smart TV, 3d TV, Curved TV and obviously they cost more than a Standard LED TV. Smart TV's now a days run on Android OS which allows you to play games, or surf the web, etc. 3D TV's are targeted for people who enjoy playing games or watching movies with Real-Life effects. They often come with a dedicated gaming remote and/ Or Optional 3d glasses and Blu-Ray Player. Curved TV's on the other hand have no real importance, except the design. With these TV's Wall mounting could be a problem and one may experience Viewing issues if a wrong position is taken. Extreme Case: When watching TV through the sides. Hence, keep this in mind before you make a choice.

Finally, check the price. If the preferred monitor suits your budget then get it, else you may save up but do not get something cheap because it will make you regret. Anyways, Standard LED TVs are not so expensive these days. You can easily get a 32 inch 1080p TV within 25k. Do your research and buy the one you want.
