DLINK DFM 560E, the best external 56 kbps modem in its class
Its been more than 2 years that I have been using my DLINK modem and its given me no problems at all. I think its the best modem one can get in its class. My experience with my modem has been a delightful one, it always gave me a good speed even when other of my friends who used the same password as mine didnt get that good a speed. Well there are many factors which decide the speed that one may get using a modem, some of them are: the telephone connection, the nature of systems at the telephone exchange, the internal wiring in the house as to how many parallel connections are taken from the same line and so on.
I find that DLINK DFM 560E is the modem one should go for. Now I have a cable internet connection and I use a LAN card and I use a DLINK LAN card because I trust this company. This trust was generated because of my modem. Even today I dont discard my modem because I know I would be able to use it for the purpose of sending and receiving faxes.
I say it again, DLINK is the way to go when you think of buying a good modem for a reasonable price.
