I don't see any differentiation in this magazine compared to other business magazines.


Like all others media houses, they are also bereft of business ethics. We can make out this by looking at the biases in their reporting and articles.


Like all others, they also run an annual ranking drama of business/engineering/medical schools, which are worth nothing.


However, they have managed to package their magazine pretty well.

Their expertise is in taking money from subscribers and not sending magazines on time, NEVER. I took a 2 year subscription and NEVER received an issue on time. First of all, there was nobody to complain to. Somehow.


I found a number in their Mumbai office and complained, but as can be expected from such people, there was no proper action.


They kept complaining about everything else, incomplete address (I continue to receive all other communication on time on the so-called incomplete address), blame postal department, etc. After a lot of complaining, they committed to send the issues by courier.


I received the magazine by a reputed courier company only twice, though again not on time. After that, it was left to shady courier companies, who even missed issues. On several occasions, I received 6 issues at once!

I started complaining to these thugs during February of 2008 and by September of 2009, the issues stopped coming, no reason, no intimation.


When I inquired during November 2009, I was told that they are processing a refund of my subscription money, which was sent 2 days ago. These people have a unique customer care department. They send out automated response acknowledging emails, even when no emails are sent!

My disdain for media houses is strengthened by this experience.
