Well, I do admit that Zee is trying overtime to get back to its number one position and honestly the attempt is a really good one. One of the new shows is the Business Bazigar. Okay the concept is new in India but anybody who is fond of international television must have seen the Apprentice,ie, the super hot show by Donald Trump aired on Star World each Friday night at 9.
Our own desi version, ie, Business Baazigar is also aired each Friday night at 8. So well what happens is after I watch BB, I switch channels to the Apprentice and that is where the contrast comes in. I understand that I should not comparing the two but I swear to God I can't help it.
I think even though the concept of Business Baazigar is a strong one, the execution and the plot are really really work. The tasks are lame and the candidates, are not creative. The worst part is that wach task is to finished in two days but the airtime is stretched to two episodes. I mean I almost lose my interest in the entire task and especailly the ideas that the candidates keep coming up with are way to stale. The entrepreneurship is amost absent.
Though I have to say that some of the candidates are very very promising, my personal favourites are Arundhati and Rakhii, some brain these women have! The idea of the helicopter ride by Arundhati and her team was just brilliant, I literally clapped for them that day. That is inventive thinking.
As for the tasks, I honestly feel that they should be more specific by nature by because uptil now the tasks have been offering a lot of room for self decision making but I feel if the tasks are more organised, as in by the nature of their job, I certainly hope that a lot more of the candidate's credibility can be explored.
I really hope to see that the candidates are offered jobs like managing events or organising them or boosting sales or may be managing certain offices of the Aditya Birla Group. They could organise a wedding extravaganza or something. What I basically mean is that they need to have more variety and please add that variety.
Secondly I certainly feel that the footage time per task should be definitly limited to one episode. That way it becomes so much more intriguing and interesting and of course the pace of the program would make it exciting. C'mon guys add some fuel!
Rest assured, its a really good show but some more organisation of the show and pacing up the program could bring in better results and TRP's for the channel.
