Ever been to Burger King and opened up a burger and seen a dead rats head mashed into your burger with oozing sauces and unripen tomatoes, blue lettuce, brown cheese and stale bread. This was the exact feeling I had when I went to Burger King. After that day, I refused to go there because of the filth I did receive.
I went on a Saturday night after work with some buddies after starving myself for the whole day while working long hours. I thought I would treat myself to a place that ALWAYS USED TO serve me neat, and tasty food ..... until that brutal day when I entered. I ordered two junior whoppers and 2 regular whoppers. I got one of my junior whoppers and I thought that it had to be some practical joke, but I received something that MUST have been picked out of a trash bag. I laughed so hard but inside I was so ticked off!
The Food
The food is really tasty ..... sometimes ..... and you can treat yourself to a wide variety of items which appeal to adults to younger kids. They are children friendly with their Burger King ''cool'' cartoon characters. They are not as old as the Mcdonalds characters although. You can order yourself, Junior Whoppers, Whoppers, Whoppers with cheese, Fries, Poutines, and a whole bunch of other menu items.
The Cleanliness of the Place
The locations do vary, I have been to an absolute rat hole in the downtown core of Toronto and it was not a particular nostril enjoying experience. The place smelled so bad that I had to take my food out and not sit in that miserable pig sty.
Other places such as the one in my city of Woodbridge was really clean and sanitary. The place is mopped every few hours and tables will always be spotless.
The Prices
Along with the competition that Burger King receives from arch rival (or shall I say double-arch rival) Mcdonald's, they are forced to price their products to appeal to their customers who won't have to rethink their decision on going elsewhere.
You can eat like a King for under $8 and you can grab a quick bite, drink and fries for uly under $4.50.
The Staff
The staff I never usually have problems with except that time of the Evil Burger I received. They are pretty quick from the processing to distribution phase. They are quite friendly with me and have never screwed up an order. When I mean screwed up, I mean giving me something I did not order.
Overall Thoughts .....
I'm not here to butcher Burger King's reputation but that one case really grossed the heck out of me and I simply refuse to go there again after that traumatization. If you want a snack or a meal, Burger King will serve you like a ''king'' as mentioned in their brand name.
