''A TERRIBLE WASTE OF A GREAT CHANCE!!''. Review on Bunty Aur Babli

A YASH CHOPRA film is Special,Irrespective of Box-office outcome,Though Bunty aur Bubli is not Directed by Yash Chopra but still it has the hype of Yash Chopra!Bunty aur Babli reminds me of the Masala type films but Sometimes, an interesting story loses its charm if stretched meaninglessly,That's exactly the case with Bunty aur Babli.To be honest Bunty and Bubli is a Great Chance gone waste!!!Bunty and Bubli could have an Good popcorn Khao flick targeted at the youth, but it misses the bus.To put it bluntly,Bunty aur babli is High on hype and low on Substance.

Rakesh(Abhishek Bachchan) and Vimmi(Rani mukerji) are two People who dont want to Work,yet both of them want Fame and Money.They both meet at Lucknow and Then they go to Kanpur and then they start Looting people.They go from City to City doing their type of Business(He!he!!)But One Policeman Dashrath [Amitabh Bachchan]Decides To catch them up,there are some scenes that are well Handed but from thereon, again, the film stands on a Weak screenplay.and Moreover the Ending where Amitabh Bachchan pardons them because he realizes that the husband-wife are sorry about what they have Done is also Too weak.

Shaad ali again Handles a dry subject well,he does show sparks of brilliance in several sequences, proving yet again that he's one amongst the brightest names.But he is letdown by the Screenplay,in some scenes I was Feeling so boring and there are also Some scenes that Dont make any sence to anyone(the climax scenes).The Druken scene is Badly Executed and Aishwarya rai in Item number only increases the Star value of the Movie.That it!

Now coming to the Performances,Bunty aur Babli Belongs To Amitabh Bachchan,The actor again proves that he can Tackle any role with Amazing Ease,his character is also very colourful,his character is the type that would draw ceetees and taalis from the masses,After Black the actor delivers another performance of which he can be proud of. Abhishek Bachchan is Superb,He also looks very good in the movie.Rani mukerji goes over-the-top in the first few reels,but she Delivers a Knockout Performance.Prem chopra and Raj Bhabaar are Outstanding.Aishwarya Rai is wasted!

The cinematography is Mind-blowing,the Raw Scenes of small cites has been captured beautifully.The dialogues are Heavy sometimes but they are Witty at most of the Places.The Music is another Drawback in this Movie,The songs are Though Tuneful but only two songs are Memorable ''TADAP TADAP'' and Big B rap song.

On the whole,Bunty and Bubli completely disappoints,There are just couple of Interesting Scenes,but the Screenplay is Unbearable after Certain time.To be honest Bunty and Bubli is Spiceless Biryani,the Business may be good This Weekend,but from Monday the Movie will not Attract much Eyeballs!!
