Royal Enfield has finally got their priorities correct. The thunderbird, oh my god, what a bike. It has impressed me more than both Enticer and Elim (I have rode them both). See, it’s a correct saying that ‘engine has no substitute’. The enticer is a measly 125 cc economy bike. The elim is 180cc alright but the cost? And also that you can’t resale it. Now here comes the Thunder Bird. Its great for highways, and even in the city. It gives a mileage of 35kmpl. Isn’t that good for a 350cc bike! So those guys who have a Bullet passion, can take it easy as the Thunder Bird is just the right bird for them. The gear shifter is on the left. The brakes are disks and the old exhaust has been refined. This has been done to meet Pollution Emission norms. So for 75000, you get a reasonably good bargain – 350cc, 18 bhp, 35kmpl……….
