Hi All, I really feel that i'm not that qualified or experienced to write about the LEGEND, because its been just a week of the ride.

I have a TVS Apache 150...bought in 2006. One of my friend did recommend that time to buy a Bullet but then the perception that if you fall from a Bullet there are less chances of you to survive was been nailed in my head...and honestly, the new launch of apache 150 was inspiring enough to buy it...

After 5 years of riding, I thought of upgrading the bike and thought of the legend....my friend did challenge me the day when he falls off the BULLET, he'll give away his bike to me for free...but shockingly he has never...so believing his say I started searching for the old model of Bullets (the CI engines and not the UCE)....

I hunted for a good conditioned and reasonable costing electra or a machismo as if I'm hunting for GOD or something....after 3 months of search and eliminating various options, I finally got a Machismo 500 and I'm really speechless about its performance...The only flaw in the bike which I found is the kickstart...

I seriously believe that very few of the owners would agree on this point. Maybe, I need some more practice on starting the bike...in a week, I've already got my leg sprained, and still can't start it unless I put it on the main stand and kick it standing sideways....but anyways, everything pride has a price. this if this is the price? then trust me its worth paying for the LEGEND...and the bike really turns heads....

LOOKS:- Chrome Tank, solid muscular finish....needless to say, the award for the most MACHO bike goes to the BULLET since its birth....

MILEAGE:- I really don't even feel of writing about the mileage...koz if I do concern about it, its better that I buy a YO bike or maybe a 100cc small time bike...RELIABILITY:- One of my friend owns a Standard 350 and he challenged me the day he got his bike... The day I fall and have a serious injury due to Bullet, I'll sell of my bike, its been 4 years and 45k kms of his ride and has never fallen from the bike...

WOW....unbelievable but true. and even I've felt its sturdy and reliable on the streets, even on High speeds.COMFORT:- Does any Bulleter here get tired of riding the BULLET??? I used to wonder how can people ride till Ladakh??? after riding it, I feel when will I get an opportunity to ride it that long?

Point is although bullet is very heavy but its very comfortable and you never feel tiring...excitement/enthusiasm of riding the bullet or there is some magic in the bike...

I really don't know, coz I've really experience a stiff back and a tough long ride on avenger and Enticer...Last but not the least, I'm really proud of owning a Bullet and do know that BULLET ROCKS in all sense....CHEERS!!
