]I own an electra 350cc for 5 years now, a silver one 4 gear left brake electra...my experience riding a bullet...just awesome....its one of the most comfortable bike you can ever drive specially for long drives....
Guyz a few myths to clarify about maintainence of bullet....well the only expense you incur during servicing is when you gotta change your engine oil...bullet needs almost 2.5-3 l of engine oil so thats costly...else the servicing is nominal.....
Best is get your bullet serviced every 3-4 months if you drive an average of 3-4k kms within that time frame....make sure to check your engine oil level...not necessary to get the engine oil changed at every service...infact I even managed to run my bike for 6 months without getting the engine oil changed...the only drawback is milega however I believe no one buys a bullet for milega but comfort and elegance....i managed to top speed my electra at 110...
But guys let me tell you one thing after you cross 100 it takes a while to touch the 110 mark ..although not a racing bike I wanted to test my bike limits so went for it...my bike generally gives me milege between 26-29 depending on traffic in bangalore....i generally spend around 1000-1100rs on servicing every 4 months coz I get my engine oil changed every 4 months...for those who wanna run their engine oil till the next alternate service you can cut down another 500rs on every alternate service....yes guyz one thing please make sure to buy only genuine enfield spare parts...it would tax ur wallet but I believe better to use genuine parts for this road warrior rather than use local spare parts and screw the bike...
