This is the second post after a month and I wish to say that there are lots of positives about this beauty named bullet.
I had covered almost 1500 Km after my acquisition and I had a feeling that my engine was more nosier than normal so I took it for a service at Kaltex Service station at rajajinagar and guess what ..The engine oil was so black that the mechanic confirmed that it has easily missed at least 3 services and I was shocked but the mechanic confirmed that the beast has not been hurt and he also asked has the mileage dropped. And of course it had for past 2 weeks before the service.
Now after I have got the service done the engine is real quite and the thump is super and beauty & the beast is back to action and the pleasure of riding is back again. I really cursed the guy who sold this beauty to me as he mentioned that he had serviced this just 10 days back and there was no need to get it service again.
Let me mention one more point, am getting a mileage of 38Kmpl after the service in the city traffic. People may ask how I came to this figure. OK here you go I took a kinley 1L bottle of petrol and firstly emptied my tank and then filled it with the 1l bottle of petrol and took some 1/2 l in another bottle and carried in my bag now the time to note down the KM reading and it exactly clocked 38Km before my beast refused to run anymore.
I never rode above 60 and had maximum used the 3rd 4th & 5th gear. this resulted in a super mileage. Believe me beast is even smoother in 5th gear and the beast flies and the thump is so soft and natural at 50km per hr.
Here are some points: pls use the clutch minimal, In traffic avoid running your bike at 2nd for long & if stuck in jams. Suggest you to run on 2nd and not in 1st. Gear pattern: 10 to 20 (1st G) 20 to 30 (2nd) 30 to 40 (3rd G) 40 and above (4th & 5th). I had rated the mileage as average when I brought this masterpiece but am sorry for it. I have to say with such an power and performance it does not let you down on the economy too.
I have not only started to love this beauty but there seems to be more than that which I can’t explain :-) At last I forgot to tell you one more stuff. A police caught me at sadashivnagar and I thought he will ask for all documents but to my surprise he asked me how I can get a second hand bullet and he praised me of keeping it in good condition and it for its killing looks. He made a comment "people are special when they are on bullet"
Now I have more reasons to glide on a bullet.
I have stopped jumping signals & guess what recently I was at audugodi signal and I was about to start as the signal was green and from no where a karizma jumped his signal and was about to hit me but I braked and gave him a pass signal but to my surprise he gave a pass instead and my beast won. With this beauty I have started learning patience and believe me its worth learning.

I would call this beauty & beast as a masterpiece created for all generations to come.
